When you do this for your site you will see two boxes at the top of the page. One will show the number of pages on your website, and the second will show the total number of inbound links to your site. These are your backlinks. You will also see a list of where those backlinks come from. This can be very useful.

Now if you want to see what you need to do to outrank that pesky competitor of yours, it wouldn’t hurt to enter their domain name the same way and see how many backlinks they have.

You might also want to check out who they are. There is often a good chance you can get back links from some of the same places.

Now as we mentioned, not all backlinks are created equal. Some have higher page rank and are thus weighted more than others. So it’s possible that someone with fewer backlinks could rank higher.

As an experiment, go to Google and enter the keyword “Home Decorating” in the Google Search Box. When I did it for this article the top three “organic” listings were home-decorating-made-easy.com ; tuscan-home-101.com and hgtv.com

I looked at each site with the Yahoo Site Explorer and found the top ranking site had 627 pages of content and 1726 back links. The second ranked site, the tuscan one, had 88 pages of content and 794 backlinks. I believe the number of backlinks to be the major determinant in the higher ranking by home decorating made easy site.

But what about the third place site, HGTV? It has 203,974 pages and 7,285,773 backlinks. A behemoth by anyone’s standards. This is where relevance plays a role. HGTV has a lot of pages and backlinks, but not all of them were specifically relevant to the keyword term “Home Decorating.” At least not in Google’s eyes.

If you enjoyed this exercise, play around with a few other keywords, and see if the number of backlinks doesn’t seem to play a role in most of them. As you do, you will come to appreciate how important backlinks are to ranking.

Can you submit it to one of those article directories you have heard about?  How do you know which on to use?  Should you choose more than one?

Do you dare submit the same exact article to more than one directory?  If now – what is that term you heard – spinning?  What the heck does that mean?

Can you get someone to do that for you?

Article Directory:  This is where you have the article you had written for you distributed to directories (repositories of article) where someone can look up a subject (How to teach an old dog new tricks) for example, and ergo, there is your article – all ready to be read and acted upon.

Now, I ask you – What could be easier?

3. Wait, now you have figured out a way to get the article written – someone has submitted it to article directories for you. Well – you are ready to hit that home run!  Wait until that `X` sees you now.

4. Oh damn – you forgot – someone has to find and read your great site.  You don’t want it buried in a maze of other articles on the same subject. You need backlinks and pings.  Oh hell, what are those –and how much is that going to cost?
BackLinks – Incoming links to your website.  Shows how popular your site is – and makes it more prominent in search engines.  Therefore more people will actually find it – and BUY from it!!

Pings – OK – now this is really getting weird.  What is a ping – and how much is it going to cost me?

Pings – When you ping someone – there will be a pop-up window that lets your `message` be shown.  What message – Oh man – this gets so complicated!

5. Just supposing that you could get all that stuff done for you?  Suppose you wanted to get started, but you didn’t want to get a degree in web marketing?

Well: lets’ see what can be done:

1. Have an experienced, successful writer do the article for you – around 500 words., or so.
2. Have an experienced person take that article – and make it into several variations for you so it can be submitted several places – and look fresh each time.

3. Now suppose you wanted to have that article submitted to over 100 directories – all high ranking directories?  Eh – now you are getting somewhere. 

(Those brochures can be dusted off, now)

4. Remember those backlinks we talked about?  How about adding hundreds of backlinks – and thousands of pings to this set up?

So, let’s recap:

1st Step -  – Having that article both written and spun for you into different variations –

2nd Step – Having that article written, spun and actually submitted to 100-150 article directories to high ranking directories

3rd Step -  All the above – PLUS – having hundreds of Backlinks and thousands of  Pings – all going back to that website you so lovingly created.

If you have the  whole enchilada – (all done for you by experts)  -You will be light years ahead of anyone else trying to get set up.

So, yes – You can do this!

Airsoft games are fun and exciting to play if you have the necessary equipment and people to play with. Special equipment, many times, are used to enhance the realistic feel of the MilSim games. Along with your airsoft guns and ammo, a lot of other combat gear and equipment is used on the field during play time. Depending on the kind of game you are involve in, these special gear help a lot. Radios, walkie-talkies, flash bangs and torches are some of the most commonly used devices on an airsoft field.

In an organised game which is a part of a tournament, radios and walkie-talkies are mandatory for the players. When playing in a large open ground, the squad leader must be able to give commands to his team and locate their positions. Organising ambushes and attacks are easier to do through a radio device.

Several other equipment such as land mines, grenades, bombs, and launchers are used by the teams while playing. This equipment can be used in many scenarios where tanks and mobiles are used.

In many games, tanks cannot be destroyed by normal airsoft guns or grenades. For this reason, a launcher device is used by the teams. These airsoft launchers can be created at home and are used to take out tankers and other military vehicle. They have the capability to fire large foam balls or rockets which are used against big tanks. Grenades and small flash bombs are also great tools to play with. They are mainly used to take out many targets at one go. Grenades are advantageous as the player is not exposed to the line of fire. The grenades can be launched from a hiding place. There are many rules to be followed while using grenade or flash bangs. Usually players avoid using these tools when playing outdoors. It is more efficient when you are playing in a building. The player uses the grenade before entering a room filled with hostiles.

Grenade launchers are a bigger version of the grenades and are of limited use in an outdoor location. Its main use is that of launching several pellets in one direction. These launchers resemble and act like giant airsoft guns. The grenade launchers are better suited to indoor locations and serve as a good tool is taking out opponents.

These tools can be used in various ways and serve well while playing airsoft sports. The special gears are available at most airsoft centres that organise games at a professional level.
